The FCS II Carver Thruster Neo Glass fin set from the Essential Series. This fin has an elongated template for executing long arcing turns. The Carver has an extended sweep angle that provides excellent control off the bottom and when carving the face. Particularly good in point-break and reef-break waves. This is the 'go-to' fin set for power surfers who push hard against their fins and carve long drawn-out turns on the wave face. FCS recommend the Carver fins for boards with deep concaves and moderate-to-extreme rocker.
Neo Glass is a brand new construction process which has been getting some rave reviews from the FCS team riders. By blending the finest nylon and long strand fibreglass they have created a fin with some exciting characteristics.
Kai Otton, Felipe Toledo and Davey Cathels have been putting the Neo Glass fins through their paces and claim they have plenty of drive and made my board feel alive. And are said to have a superb recoil, increasing drive and carrying speed through turns.
