TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE HKII CHILLI SURFBOARDS
OUTLINE
The HKII features a classic shortboard outline and slightly fuller front end. Chilli has eliminated the hip through the fins, creating a more fluid ride from edge to edge. This facilitates straighter edge along the tail, improving speed, while a nice narrow swallowtail allows for tight transitions when the section comes up.
ROCKER
Continuing from the Hot Knife, the HK2 has a moderately flat entry rocker, which transitions to a smooth exit. The main focus of the surfboard is to maintain its speed on flat sections while allowing for tight transitions.
CONCAVES
Continuing with the Hot Knife concaves, the HK2 has a single concave from the nose that transitions to a double underfoot, which blends into a V towards the tail. This combination creates a fast surfboard from the take off that has a super forgiving edge to edge feel and control as you finish your turns.
Fins Recommendations for the Chilli HKII
To complement this model, the fins should have a "raked" shape. Either the Carver family at FCS II, or the Raked family with FUTURES. The AM series works well with this surfboard, just choose your size based on your weight.

The delivery time for surfboards depends on the brand and the technology used in their manufacturing. For custom surfboard orders, please contact us directly to get accurate information about delivery times, as this can vary based on the specifications and current workload.
