Meet Stab in the Dark's 2022 season champ: the CI Pro. Britt Merrick's winning shortboard design, as seen under the feet of Jack Robinson, was made in collaboration with Parker Coffin.

The most rockered board in our current line, the CI Pro is the pinnacle of high performance. The continuous rocker which is curviest beneath your feet allows for quick directional changes while the low curve out the back maximizes projection. The CI Pro's minimal single concave with a very slight double through the fins causes the board to sit in the water and creates a more connected feel at high speeds and through your turns. The curvier outline matched with soft, tucked rails provide for extreme rail to rail surfing.

To put it concisely, the CI Pro lets you do whatever you want without thinking.

TECHNICAL FEATURES CI PRO

This board allows you to do what you want and how you want. But first, let's see its characteristics in more detail: 

• Outline: With a fairly curvy outline or contour, the widest point is located right in the center of the board. In general, it is a narrower model than other recent boards of the brand. This makes it a certainly gritty board, favoring aggressive surfing with agile and powerful edge and direction changes. The tail measurements are medium, so they are neither too wide nor too narrow. This brings balance and versatility to the CI PRO. This model is available with squash, square, round, round pin and swallow tails; however, the most recommended are squash, swallow and round.
• RAILS: The rails of the board are designed to dig into the wave, especially in the most vertical and critical areas.
• ROCKER: Being the surfboard with more rocker Channel Islands currently. The CI PRO becomes the pinnacle of high performance. The continuous rocker that is more curved under your feet allows for quick directional changes, while the low curve in the back maximizes projection. Its entry rocker is high, which helps complete descents in vertical waves, which otherwise requires the surfer to put more effort into paddling the waves.  Likewise, the tail exit rocker is also high, which favors performance in the tightest turns and especially the attack in the most critical parts of the waves.
• Bottom & Concave : The bottom of the Al Merrick CI Pro is very simple, no secrets. It has a single smooth concave under the front foot and therefore reaches all the way to the front of the fins, where it starts to transition to a double smooth concave between them. This lower configuration gives it a good generation of speed and lift under the base of the front foot, directing the water flow towards the middle of the keels, where it dissipates diagonally down the sides of the center keel.
