Created by Britt Merrick from what was initially the Two Happy shortboard model, our new Happy Everyday fills a need in every surfer's quiver, the everyday shortboard.
After the CI pro team fell in love with the Two Happy, Britt wanted to take advantage of its performance attributes, but modify it to cope with the everyday conditions most of us face: The kind of conditions where you want to ride but don't feel like taking a step down, and at the same time maybe not the epic stuff you'd use your high-performance shortboard for. To achieve this goal, Britt shortened the rail a bit to create a more curved contour, especially in the tail area. Both the entry and exit rockers were lowered slightly to increase paddling and planning speed to cover a wider range of conditions. The single concave under the front foot acts as a gas pedal and the generous double concave through the fi nas provides rail-to-rail ease and plenty of lift on the small stuff.
The CI pro team loves it, and the design was validated at the recent Stab in the Dark presented by Taj Burrow in West Oz, not only by the way it looked under his feet, but by the fact that he chose to paddle it as a wildcard for the WSL Rottnest Islands event.
The Happy Everyday is a great all-rounder design that sits right between your high performance shortboard (Two Happy) and a step down/groveler (Rocket Wide).
In short, a board designed for high performance surfing in most of the waves most of us surf every day, the Happy Everyday.
What fins do we recommend for the Al Merrick Happy Everyday?
- FCS2: We recommend the FCS PC Mick Fanning trifin fin set or the CI Upright fins also designed by Al Merrick.
- Futures: If you opt for futures fins configuration we recommend Futures Alpha Al Merrick or Futures Al Merrick Techflex fins.

Returns
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original packaging.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).
You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Shipping
CHECK THE DELIVERY TIME OF YOUR ITEM. You can see it in the product sheet. If the item indicates "in stock" when placing the order, the delivery time is 24-48 working hours for orders placed before 12:30 PM, unless clearly stated otherwise in the product description.
