The new surfing surfboard "Dumpster Diver 2: Imperfection Discarded" from Channel Islands Surfboards is the result of an innovative design that originated unexpectedly. We're not sure who gave it the original name, but it was branded on the fin.
"When I reviewed the original surfboard, I was extremely surprised that I could have competed with it, as having a short surfboard nose on a 5'7" made it incredibly short, similar to a surfboard surfing a grom. For this reason, my goal was to create an elongated version with a modernized nose." - Britt Merrick
Britt has been meticulous in refining the details of the design, he has rethought the tail and, although the outline and concavity have not changed, the shape looks new and modernized.
