CI Noserider Classic Longboard
The CI Noserider from Channel Islands Surfboards is a classic longboard designed to facilitate noseriding without losing agility in maneuvers. Created in collaboration with shaper Wayne Rich and surfer Devon Howard, this surfboard combines a traditional design line with modern features that maximize tip time and maintain a fluid response from the tail.
Its blunt-edged tail and noseriding-specific rocker offer exceptional tip grip. The nose concave and bottom contours have been perfected over decades by Wayne Rich, achieving a responsive and stable surfboard even in critical sections.
Unlike many noseriders with wide noses, the Noserider CI outline is slightly narrower so as not to compromise speed and control in tight turns. The tail block width is carefully balanced, allowing for both anchoring the surfboard in the noseride and powerful turns in the pocket. Pigmented resin construction, redwood and basswood stringers, and hand lamination in combination with gloss and sanded finishes give it a premium and durable feel.
