Rob Machado has been riding this board for almost a decade and has been tweaking and tweaking it for years. A little width here...a touch of thickness there.... back and forth until he finally decided the board was ready. Very round and elegant curves. Smooth rocker. Easy to surf for all levels and easy to surf in all types of waves.
I like to think of the guy at VG’s Donuts that glazes the donuts. Pretty important dude. Kinda makes or breaks a donut. He’s the GLAZER. And then you have my number one test pilot - TODD GLASER. He’s been riding this board for close to a decade. We’ve been modifying and tweaking it for years. What kind of fins do we recommend for the Firewire Glazer?
Trifin FCS 2 H4 fins. The new FCS fins surf unlike any other surf fin. Swiss precision engineering coupled with a highly evolved shape provides an unprecedented level of control and predictability at high speeds. These are possibly the fastest fins on the market. LFT incorporates Firewire’s SPRINGER HD, a 0.75” (18 mm) wide aerospace composite that runs down the centerline of the board, representing the next generation in our SPRINGER technology.
The SPRINGER HD runs the entire length of the board and plays a pivotal role in optimizing flex from nose to tail.
