Brand Pyzel Surfboards
When Pyzel Surfboards first released the Ghost model, they didn't know that its unique design would be praised by so many people in so many different types of waves.
However, the only comment they heard was that the Ghost works best on waves that are at shoulder height and up. That's how the guys from Pyzel set out to make a surfboard that would give the same sensation on small waves as on waves from the last subway. That way they would be able to design a surfboard for most of our daily surfing sessions.
Pyzel's The Phantom is a flattened, bloated, volume-added ghost, ideal for your daily sessions, which don't have to be epic.
The Phantom retains the same rocker as the Ghost but adds more concave simplicity, helping to create speed and fluidity without taking away the overall performance and feel of the original design.
The added width in the tail and nose creates a wider, parallel outline that helps maintain speed through slower sections and tighter turns.
The rails are complete but not thick, giving you more floatation and speed without taking away the sensitivity we all look for in our surfboards.
For what kind of waves do we recommend the Pyzel Phantom?
The Phantom works best on high waist waves. And on all types of waves. Beach breack or reef. The Phantom is a board to use every day.

What FINS do we recommend for the Pyzel Phantom?
We recommend Pyzel FCS2 surf fins, designed by shaper John Pyzel with an All Round template. Designed for the most demanding surfers, who like to surf hard at the bottom and get fins on the lip of the wave.
