Slater Designs - Cymatic - LFT
The Cymatic is a state-of-the-art, ultra-high performance machine.
This shape is a hybrid of the Sci-Fi and Omni models, so obviously you can almost imagine the two boards combining naturally one night with Tomo away from the shaping bay.
Sci-Fi fans will immediately notice Tomo's double bat tail. A big part of Sci-Fi's popularity in 2016 and 2017 has been this tail design along with Tomo's Quad Inside Single Concave.
Functionally, the marriage of these two design elements has been brilliant: the double bat adds much needed grip to the wave face, offsetting the extreme lift and speed created by the Quad Inside Single Concave.
By merging these elements with the reduced nose swing weight of the Omni, Daniel Tomson has created an evolved version of both boards that surfs more similarly to the Sci-Fi but with a bit more rocker, and greater ease of use in 1 to 5 foot waves.
However, when it comes to larger waves, surfers who love that familiar "barely out of control in a fun way" speed when the waves get over head height will appreciate the feel of this board in proper waves as well.
Both Kelly Slater and Daniel Thomson have surfed and signed this shape in 2017 and we can't wait to feature it in 2018 as the next evolution of Tomo's minimalist, highly engineered modern planning hulls for Slater Designs.
Technology - LFT
LFT incorporates Firewire’s SPRINGER HD, a 0.75” (18 mm) wide aerospace composite that runs down the centerline of the board, representing the next generation in our SPRINGER technology.
The SPRINGER HD runs the entire length of the board and plays a pivotal role in optimizing flex from nose to tail.

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original packaging.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
